Private Functions

We look forward to delivering the Thai Pothong experience to you and your guests in one of Sydney’s best Thai restaurants. We have successfully planned and executed parties for companies and individuals across a wide range of industries and needs, and guarantee to make your next event a memorable one.

We highly recommend you to select a function menu in advance to share in the middle or you may decide on the night. You may make changes to our offered function menus or you may select  your own from our menus. To create your own function menu choose 4 entrées, 4 main courses and dessert and we will quote you per guest.

If you order a function menu and pay the bill in cash, we will give you 15% back in Thai Pothong dollars, for you to spend at our restaurant or Thai gift shop which is open daily from 10.30am.

For ‘Special Birthdays’ we have our own Thai Pothong Ice-cream and fruit platters, which are decorated with candles and sparklers. You can order on the night of your party, $18 for 2 guests or larger sizes are available for $4 extra per person.

Following the latest renovations, we now seat over 500 guests! 

Our 'NEW' bars and 12 private function room options are situated on both levels of our restaurant and provide the perfect setting to host birthday parties, special events, weddings and meetings. Our beautifully displayed 'Thai art' is 'for sale' and imported from all regions of Thailand which creates a truly unique backdrop for your Thai dinner or celebration party. Function rooms will be set up to suit your needs and party size.

Monday: 12PM - 3:30PM or 5:30PM -10PM

Tuesday: 12PM - 3:30PM or 5:30PM - 10PM

Wednesday: 12PM - 3:30PM or 5:30PM -10PM

Thursday: 12PM - 3:30PM or 5:30PM -10PM

Friday: 12PM - 3:30PM

Saturday: 12PM - 3:30PM

Sunday: 12PM - 3:30PM or 5:30PM -10PM

The private function room we recommend will depend on the number of guests. We will recommend one of our private function rooms when we receive the date, time, and the final numbers of your guests.      

To secure your private function room, we request the function room fee to be paid in advance. (There is no booking fee if you do not require a private room) 

To secure a private room for your Christmas Party, please input in a provision booking ASAP with approximate numbers to be confirmed later.
